Technical Expertise
Proven experience managing SEO campaigns for multiple clients or brands
Strong understanding of on-page SEO: keyword research, title/meta optimization, internal linking, headings, schema, etc.
Working knowledge of off-page SEO including link-building best practices and citation management
Proficiency in GEO/Local SEO strategies: Google Business Profile optimization, directory listings, review strategy, NAP consistency
Familiarity with SEO data tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Google Business Profile Insights
Experience with SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz, BrightLocal, or Similar SEO platforms (agency-level preferred)
Ability to audit websites for technical issues: indexing, speed, mobile responsiveness, core web vitals
Understanding of AI search trends and how evolving search engines impact strategy (SGE / AI Overviews)
Reporting & Analysis
Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into clear, client-facing recommendations
Experience building monthly performance reports and outlining next steps based on data trends
Comfortable setting goals, KPIs, and benchmarks for ranking improvements and lead generation
Communication & Project Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (client-facing communication is a plus)
