📍 This is a full-time, in-office position based at our Eureka, MO headquarters.

Candidates must be able to commute to the office daily. Remote work is not available for this role.


Core Expertise & Job Requirements

  • Deep, working knowledge of digital marketing ecosystems, including how channels function independently and integrate strategically

  • A MINIMUM of 3–7 years experience in:

    • Marketing strategy, consulting, or agency sales

    • OR Business development with a strong strategic component

    • OR Demonstrated growth within an agency environment across multiple disciplines

  • Confident communicator with executives and business owners

  • Strong business acumen and consultative mindset

  • Data-driven thinker who connects marketing metrics to real revenue outcomes

  • Comfortable owning a pipeline and guiding prospects through a strategic sales process

  • Able to identify growth opportunities within existing client accounts


Preferred
  • Agency experience

  • Experience selling retainers or long-term engagements

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management

  • Background in consulting, analytics, or growth strategy

Strategy-Led Sales
  • Lead discovery calls focused on business goals, challenges, and growth blockers

  • Identify opportunities across SEO, paid media, web, branding, automation, and CRO

  • Translate complex marketing strategy into clear, compelling recommendations

  • Present strategic roadmaps and proposals with confidence and clarity

  • Close new business aligned with GROW’s values and delivery standards


Revenue Growth
  • Own pipeline from qualified lead → closed client

  • Collaborate with internal teams to scope solutions accurately

  • Ensure sold strategies are realistic, profitable, and executable

  • Hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets


Relationship Building
  • Act as a trusted advisor, not a salesperson

  • Build confidence with business owners, executives, and decision-makers

  • Set expectations clearly to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction


Internal Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Marketing, SEO, Ads, and Web teams

  • Provide clean handoffs with documented goals and success metrics

  • Offer feedback to improve packages, positioning, and messaging


Administration
  • Manage inbound phone calls and general company inbox.

Qualifications Necessary for the Position:

On Target Earnings - Compensation Plan 

1st Year: $107,750 (Base $65,000 salary + commission NO CAPS)

  • Translate business objectives into clear, actionable marketing roadmaps

  • Guide prospects through a consultative sales process toward the right long-term solution

  • Proactively identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, driving additional revenue while protecting strategic alignment

  • Close high-quality, long-term clients who value partnership over transactions

  • Deliver a seamless, professional onboarding experience that sets the tone for lasting client relationships

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to new and existing clients, providing strategic insight that drives measurable growth 


This is consultative sales + marketing intelligence, not traditional outbound selling. 


Role Overview 

The Marketing Strategist is responsible for driving new revenue at GROW by leading strategic discovery conversations, identifying growth opportunities, and recommending marketing solutions that help clients win. 


This role blends sales, marketing strategy, and business acumen. 


You will not “pitch.” You will diagnose, advise, and guide prospects toward the right growth path.
