  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer and Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.

Hybrid remote.
MUST reside within the Greater St. Louis area and be able to make frequent visits to the GROW Office in Eureka, MO

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Customize and extend WordPress themes to achieve desired design and functionality goals.

  • Implement and maintain responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.

  • Perform regular updates of WordPress core, themes, and plugins to ensure website security and performance.

  • Monitor website performance, conduct regular audits, and optimize for speed and efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely solutions to ensure website stability and functionality.

  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance website performance, security, and user experience.

  • Manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Stay informed about emerging web technologies and trends, and share knowledge with the team.

  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to ensure code quality and best practices.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and design processes within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

  • Expertise in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.

  • Experience with responsive design principles and frameworks.

  • Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent.

  • Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to new technologies and challenges.

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
